Congratulations on planning an amazing Party. The greatest concern most people have when looking to hire a DJ is that DJs are notorious for playing whatever music they think is good without regard to the needs of the guests. So let’s begin by putting your mind at ease.
DJ Greg Hansen always puts you, your guests and the success of your event first. This is your night and the most important thing is that you and your guests enjoy themselves. He will assist you in providing a list of music with special requests, likes and dislikes in order too create a party that is uniquely yours. GH will only be on the microphone when requested and is able to shift gears in an instant if necessary to keep the event moving at the speed you want. He is familiar with all music genres both past and present, including domestic and international music and has successfully DJ’d for mixed nationality events. Greg Hansen spins every week in a prestigious lounge in Manhattan which keeps him up to date with the latest dance floor trends.

MC's: We recommend an MC for all Mitzvahs or any event where a variety of activities are planned. Our MC’s are there to guide the guests smoothly, directing their attention to whatever the hosts have chosen to include and to help keep the event moving. They never ride the microphone or hog the spotlight.
Lighting: We offer decorative uplighting and Intelligent LED dance floor lighting options. All of which will help bring any room to life.
Photo Booth: Photo booths are a fun way to make an amazing party even more memorable. Whether you like the old vintage style booths or something more modern, we can help you to find the one that is right for your event. Photo booths come with many options including scrap books, video messages, personalized graphics on photos, branding on the booth, multimedia instant uploads, green screen with a variety of background options, props, frames, and photo slideshow projection.
Dance Professionals: Our professional Dancers will add a little extra energy to your Mitzvah or Corporate Event. They are experienced and familiar with all popular dances (Cotton Eyed Joe, Cupid Shuffle, Cha Cha Slide, Apache and much more), know how to read the mood of the party and are fun and engaging.

Upstairs at the Kimberly (40 to 200 guests)
This stunning penthouse level lounge sits 30 stories high atop the Kimberly Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. Ramscale Studio (50 to 150 guests)

Studio 450 (50 to 250 guests)
Studio450 is a penthouse duplex loft encompassing the 12th floor, enclosed rooftop room and rooftop terrace of 450 West 31st street. Located in the Hudson Yards, the penthouse features an all white room surrounded by large wrap around windows. The rooftop features a glass room and wrap around outdoor terrace. Both the penthouse and rooftop allow for stunning 360 degree views of New York City and the Hudson River.
The Altman Building (450 to 750 guests)

Alger House (30 to 106 guests)
Alger House is one of the great Manhattan reception venues for affordable and smaller events, weddings, rehearsal dinners, and corporate events. The uniqueness and beauty of the Alger House facility derives from a magical assortment of paintings, sculptures, artifacts, chandeliers, sky lights, building details, stained glass, fireplaces, pianos, and antique bathrooms. The comfortability of this very private reception hall is enhanced by a huge elevator, grand width, high ceilings, central air conditioning, custom lighting, and nearby transportation.

Are you insured?
Do you offer a written contract?
Yes, I offer a written, legal contract outlining the DJ's obligations to the client, the Client's obligations to the DJ and any extra requirements to make your event successful.
May we meet with you in person before we sign a contract? Before our event?
How long have you been a DJ and how many events have you done?
I have been a DJ for over 10 years. I have done close to 100 specialty events, including weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, sweet sixteens, corporate and private parties and I am currently the resident DJ and event DJ at The Upstairs at the Kimberly Hotel.
What kinds of music are included in your collection?
I have an extensive library which I update weekly with over 50,000 songs from; all eras, genres; both international and domestic. Any songs that you might require which are not already in my library, I will acquire for you at no additional cost before your event.
Can we come to see you DJ?
Yes, if you are in Manhattan you can come and hear me spin. When I am not DJing private events I spin on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights at The Upstairs.
Do you act as the “emcee” and make all of the announcements?
Yes, I am experienced with speaking on a microphone and comfortable with making all announcements and serving as the MC for your event.
How would you define your "style" when making announcements?
Understated and polished. I am only on the microphone when requested and always make sure to keep the focus on the objective of the party.
What will you wear to our event?
I dress in an elegant and stylish manner, normally in a suit (black, dark blue, grey or brown) but could also where a tuxedo if you prefer.
When do you arrive to set up for our event?
I will arrive at least an hour before the scheduled start time of the event to set up and get organized.
How involved can we be in selecting music for our event?
I encourage each client to be as involved as they would like to be. I am able to work with any amount of participation that you would like to put in and use whatever you give me to create a mix that reflects your tastes. Even if you are not interested in choosing the music for your event, I am perfectly comfortable in selecting all of the music and mixing in any requests from you and your guests on the day of.
When do we need to submit our music requests and event details?
At least 2 weeks before the event.
Do you take requests from our guests?
I am perfectly happy to take requests from your guests and mix in any music that will give you and your guests a great time. If you are uncomfortable with that I can make sure that all requests are given the OK by you first before I play them or simply stick with the music that we have discussed and selected for the event.
